On the Place Marcel-Sauvaire, also known as the Grande Place, Castellane offers two markets, on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The Provencal market, essentially food, takes place on both days. It brings together local producers with seasonal products, to (re) discover the flavors and typical products of Haute Provence. In addition to that, Saturday is the day of "Grand Marché" and it becomes then more extended, to welcome a hundred craftsmen, and other various stalls, as well as always the local producers.

The market Wednesday uninteresting, it boasts 2 rows of stand at most. Choose the Saturday, which resembles more a classic market with fresh ingredients and clothing, and is much less sockets tourist.
