Citadel built by Vauban on the slopes of a rocky outcrop overlooking the superb village of Entrevaux

The Entrevaux citadel, built under the influence of Vauban on the slopes of a rocky spur overlooking the village of Entrevaux, offers exceptional panoramic views. The drawbridge dates from 1650. A visit to this fortress will give you an idea of what life was like inside the fortress, from the powder magazine to the contemporary prison cells of the Great War. Access is exclusively on foot, via an 800-meter paved path, overcoming 9 ramps and 156 meters of ascent... 30 minutes of gentle strolling to contemplate the Var river and the valley.

Superbe panorama
Le système de paiement par borne a fonctionné parfaitement et il ne reste plus qu'à monter pour admirer la vue d'une part, mais surtout les travaux de préservation de ce site majestueux ! Merci aux associations pour leur travail d'entretien et de restauration !
