POWDER MAGAZINE
This museum installed in an old powder magazine of the century, pays tribute to the barons of Glandèves
Housed in an old 17th century powder magazine (at the start of the climb to the citadel), the museum pays tribute to the Barons of Glandèves, lords of Entrevaux from a great family of Provençal nobility who gave France many bishops, officers, admirals, parliamentarians and other high dignitaries. On site, a dozen exhibition panels retrace the military history of Entrevaux. It should be noted that during the 1914-1918 war, the fort took in German officers as prisoners: this was its last military mission.
