VISANDINE CONVENT
Convent dating from 1634 like its cloister, one of its wings houses the town hall, then the municipal museum and its collections
The convent was completed in 1634 and its chapel in 1687. The construction of the convent followed a promise made by the city council in 1630, when the plague was raging, to found a convent of nuns if the epidemic stopped. He also had a chapel built, which dates from 1687. It currently houses the art house cinema. In the convent, one of its wings was rebuilt in 1883 to accommodate the city hall. This is where the municipal museum is located with its rich and diversified collections.
