CAMPAGNE LES TRUQUES
Forcalquier, in the heart of Provence, is home to the "Les Truques" farm. This 20-hectare family farm cultivates three main crops emblematic of the Mediterranean region: cereals, olives and vines. The cereals grown include Petit Epeautre de Haute Provence, Kamut, Meunier d'Apt and Seigle. The olive grove features Aglandau olive trees, a variety typical of Haute Provence, while Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are used to produce wines. In addition, the farm also includes beehives, a truffle oak plantation and a flock of sheep. All crops are grown organically, with respect for the environment and sustainable development. The products offered by Les Truques are simple, original and of high taste and nutritional quality, with no additives, flavourings or preservatives. Recipes are developed from old books and in collaboration with traditional chefs. Processed products such as cookies and pasta are made by local craftsmen selected for their expertise.
