THE BISHOPS' WALK
The Bishops' Walk consists of an astonishing walkway lined with 15 oratories.
To the south of the village stands the silhouette of the castle, former residence of the bishops of Sisteron. The walk owes its name to them and consists of an astonishing pathway lined with 15 oratories erected in 1864. It leads you to the pretty Notre-Dame-de-Vie chapel through the Provencal countryside. The loop is 5 km long and offers a panoramic view of the whole region. The more courageous may choose a more complete hike, that of the Roman Bridge, which includes the Promenade des Évêques, the Chemin des Écritures and the Via Domitia.
