The Notre-Dame-de-Romigier church is distinguished by its beautiful Renaissance portal. The unique parish church of the 5th century (probably) until the arrival of the Sarrasins, after its destruction in 900 it was rebuilt in the 10h and 12th centuries. In the Middle Ages, this is where all the key events of the city took place. It is distinguished by its golden altarpiece, its black Virgin dating back to the17th century classified as a historical monument in 1902 and its modern stained glass windows of 1991.
