NOTRE-DAME-DE-BEAUVOIR CHAPEL
Notre-Dame-de-Beauvoir chapel, surrounded by a terrace planted with cypress trees surrounded by walls, considered as a place of devotion
When we arrive in Moustiers-Sainte-Marie, we can only be subjugated by its chapel, observable between the two cliffs, dominating the village. Built between the XIIth and the XVIth century, it is classified as a historical monument in 1921. It is partly Romanesque and partly Gothic. The chapel is well known for its "suscitations". In the 17th century, stillborn babies were brought back to life during their baptism, thus reaching heaven. Short walk of 15 minutes.
