This union has committed itself to recognition of the typical of the territory and of the variety widely present in Haute-Provence: aglandau (75% of the orchards until 2010, 80% from that date), to request recognition of the controlled appellation of origin, which was obtained in 1999 and then in PDO. The appellation Haute-Provence is now in 95 communes: 6 in Vaucluse, 2 in Bouches-du-Rhône, 4 in the Var and 83 in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The union regularly organises introductory courses at the tasting (see dates on the website).
