ALEX FABRE
Alex Fabre waited for the retirement age to embark on olive growing. It was after leaving the Public Service (La Poste) that he planted his first trees. Between 2000 and 2005, 500 olive trees came to surround the family domain, as well as some truffle oaks. Cultivated in organic, the orchard, composed of 80% aglandau and 20% picholine, is not yet in full production. The 500 litres of oil produced at the Mill Bonaventure are listed as PDO Haute Provence and AB. You will find it in the area and at the Solidaire boutique in the village. Finally, as a member of the APROR (Aid for Olive Renewal) association, Alex Fabre animates every Thursday morning, in July and August, a hike through his olive grove (information at Laugh Tourist Office).
