In the grounds of the Lac et Forêt hotel, on the shores of Lake Castillon, here's a wonderful discovery! On the culinary side, the cuisine is inventive, the flavors subtle and the plates beautifully presented. Chef Nicolas Brencz uses seasonal produce and local vegetables to perfection: pan-fried venison fillet with hazelnut butter, snacked pike-perch fillet, "barigoule"-style brussels sprouts... The menu is worthy of a gourmet restaurant! Add to this a fine wine list, attentive staff and a superb terrace.
