LE PETIT JABRON
Artisanal cheese dairy producing numerous goat cheeses, including a Banon PDO. Sales at the farm and at markets.
Established in 1984, the Donneaud family raises 300 goats of the Alpine and Provençal breeds on this farm. Their milk is used to make Petit Jabron, a natural goat's cheese that can be enjoyed at any stage of ripening: fresh, semi-dry, creamy or dry. Named after the river that flows near the farm, it can be flavored with pepper or savory. Like the other cheeses produced here, Banon PDO, Galette des Templiers, Olivia, Boucanier, Saint-Domnin and Élisée, the only pressed cheese, are made by hand.
