Historic address in Antibes serving Provencal cuisine with meats and fish cooked fresh daily over an open wood fire.
For over twenty years, the Brûlot team has been welcoming you to the old town, between the solid stone walls of this address steeped in history. You'll enjoy hearty Provencal cuisine featuring wood-fired meats and fresh fish of the day: whole duck breast, prime rib, rib steak, sea bass, local red mullet, sea bream, prawns... The varied à la carte menu is complemented by special menus (including a gastro menu) and a dish of the day, all of which add to the appeal of this warm, authentic restaurant.

Go and get it right. Brulot is famous for its woodfire oven so if you want to turn up and have a soup, you only have yourself to blame.
Go as a couple, reserve a table for two outside (there aren't bigger tables outside) and order one beef filet and one magret de canard (duck) and split them between you so you can have half each. Get the duck saignant (rare) and the beef too - mind blown.
The real magic is the duck that will out-duck pretty much all duck you've ever had. Crispy outside, beautifully tender inside. The potatoes are delicious and the pepper sauce and the mushroom sauce are perfect... Just have the sauce with the potatoes (because the meat is perfect as is)
If you order the fish they'll probably cook it in aluminium so you won't get the deep grill grooves like you do with the meat.
A godsend of a restaurant that we have been going to religiously for decades... But like I say, order badly and you might as well have gone anywhere. The woodfire is where its at.

Excellent meat and fish cooked perfectly in the historic wood fire oven. The restaurant is family run and the staff are wonderful. Portion sizes will have you leaving with left overs. The place is great for couples and small groups, balancing between rustic and romantic. The gratins aux cepes is a strong recommendation (if you like garlic). Definitely coming back!
