Just a stone's throw from the narrow streets of old Antibes, at the end of a peaceful cul-de-sac, this 1920s Provencal villa is surrounded by a pleasant garden. The 20 rooms, soberly decorated and comfortable, are spread throughout the property. They ensure peace and quiet for a guaranteed relaxing stay. Pascal Gianni and his wife ensure a warm and attentive welcome to this family-run establishment, which offers guests a private chauffeur-driven transfer service from Nice airport and car rentals.

She said she didn’t know what mould was, so I googled a picture and showed her. Then she said she didn’t believe me, so I took her to the room and showed her. She said “oh that’s nothing, I’ll just wipe it.” I repeated that I am allergic, and she might as well have rolled her eyes at me.
She moved us to the only other room that was available at the hotel - which was even smaller than the last, with no bathroom. Not what we paid for. (Side note - none of the rooms here have a bar fridge, or tea & coffee facilities).
Anyway, since they did not have any other double rooms available, we decided to go and stay somewhere else.
It was exhausting and difficult communicating with the owner, but to her credit, she did process a full refund.
The whole experience from start to finish felt deceptive, in small ways and big ways, and I feel that the owner tried to gaslight me every time I spoke to her.
We are not rude people, and if she had been a little more understanding about the situation, the unpleasantness of it could have been completely avoided.
Luckily I tried to reach out to her the day before which took a lot of effort to reach her through costumer service and I also did some back check with my bank, if there is some fault on my side for the transaction which doesn’t work. Through the payment system of the Hotel was just no security payment possible for me. So all leaded to that that she canceled my room the night before. So it was a bit of a time consuming issue in total, and I went for another Hotel.
