EI LA CROIX SOLEIL / LA BIACHETTE
La Biachette is a producer located in Desertines, in the town of La Croix Soleil. Founded in 2005 by Sylvie Mercier, it specializes in the production of canard gras, foie gras and free-range poultry. Their poultry slaughterhouse and processing lab were built to meet their needs. In 2011, Sylvie Mercier and Hervé Chemel joined forces to form Gaec La Croix Soleil. In 2017, they bought premises in Désertines and set up a producer store and catering facilities. During the confinement period, they expanded the surface area of their sales outlet and extended their product range. They are keen to offer local, simple and good products.
