PATH FROM AUGUSTUS' TROPHY TO THE TURBIE
A 3.5 hour hike to discover Beausoleil and the superb panorama of the Italian coast.
The Trophée d'Auguste (Augustus' Trophy) is quite astonishing: erected in the year 6 BC in honor of Caesar's nephew, the future emperor Augustus, it still stands proudly today in the small village of La Turbie. It is possible to discover it by leaving Beausoleil, via a hiking itinerary that represents about 3h30 of walking, without any major difficulty or difference in level. Once there, you have a superb panorama on the coast, from Italy to the Esterel.
