GORDOLASQUE VALLEY
Site offering one of the most beautiful entrances to the Mercantour National Park, with a waterfall and traditional houses
Near the village of Belvédère, this ancient glacial valley offers one of the wildest and most beautiful entrances to the Mercantour National Park. The Ray waterfall, the vacherie, the traditional alpine houses, the lakes... It is in this exceptional setting, where the highest peaks of the department are located (Malédie, Tête du Basto, Grand Capelet), that you can enjoy climbing in summer and snowshoeing in winter. You may have the chance to meet chamois, ibex and marmots, or to admire the endemic flora...
