Founded in 1885, this historic café was named after the public telephone booth that used to be inside! A revamped former cinema still classified as a historic café, it offers a sunny terrace on the main square in the heart of the village. Benefiting from a renovated kitchen, the chef offers a menu that changes with the seasons, including generous mixed salads served on large plates. There are also a number of fresh meat and fish specialties, and a finely-crafted wine list.

Nous avons dîner le midi à l'ombre des platanes dans un village provençale le personnels d'une gentillesse inestimables, le repas un délicieux si vous vous trouvez dans les alentours allez-y je vous le conseille les yeux fermés

On a lazy Thursday afternoon we came across a beautiful square in Biot. And we
had lunch at the square and it was delicious.
We had the Plat du jour, which was Bavette à l'echalote with fries and salade.
For desert we had a café gourmand.
This desert was an excellent way to finish a delicious lunch.
Next time we are in Biot, we will definitely return to Café de la Poste.
