MUSEUM OF HISTORY AND CERAMICS BIOTOISES
The Musée d'Histoire et de Céramique Biotoises, dedicated to Biot ceramics, with hundreds of documents and objects
Housed in the former Saint-Jacques hospital, this museum is dedicated to Biot ceramics, with hundreds of documents and objects. 2,000 years of Biot's pottery heritage through a large collection of jars made between the 16th and 19th centuries. Little by little, Biotois pottery evolved into ceramics. The indoor fountains on display at the museum, which were very much in vogue in the 18th and 19th centuries, perfectly symbolize this art form, which was both popular and refined.
