CHURCH OF SANCTA MARIA IN ALBIS
An old Romanesque church in Breil-sur-Roya, with a bell tower next to the façade, with a deep choir surrounded by two apses
Built on the site of an old Romanesque church, its façade is narrow, with two levels of elevation. The church is built on a Greek cross plan, with four equal arms. The bell tower adjoins the façade. The nave is short, the deep choir surrounded by two apses. The high altar is richly decorated with carved and gilded woodwork. All around, walnut stalls. The magnificent organ case above the entrance is crowned by a flight of cherubs.
