Restaurant in Cannes making tasty recipes with fresh market products and local producers
It is a family story that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1935. Today, Luc Giorsetti, grandson of the founders, is at the helm and in the kitchen. The chef was recently awarded the Bib Gourmand, Gault & Millau 2022. The recipes have evolved while keeping the classic touch that makes them so tasty, and the fresh products that compose them are selected daily at the Forville market or from local producers. Among the specialties, we like the small stuffed dishes and the homemade rum baba.

We came here for lunch and had a great time. It reminded us of why we fell in love with regional cuisines when we came to France the first time. Simple yet complex, lovely and homely. In my partner’s words, it’s like what you would have when your granny knows what you love and cook with love and care. We loved it.
We got the house wines with our meal and they were yummy too. We could see everything was selected with care and attention.
As for the cash only thing mentioned in a lot of reviews, it’s not so hard to get some cash out before coming. The meal was well worth the effort.
