La Malmaison Art Center in Cannes, with game rooms and tea rooms, hosting 2 large exhibitions of renowned painters
La Malmaison, now owned by the City of Cannes, is the only remaining pavilion of the original Grand Hotel. The latter, built in 1863, was inhabited until the end of the 1950s and then demolished and rebuilt in 1963. At that time it housed gaming rooms and tea rooms. The garden level now hosts two major exhibitions per year, regularly featuring renowned painters such as Matisse, Picasso, Miró, César and Chu Teh-Chun.
