THE CASTLE OF THE TERRACES
The castle of the terraces, a high place of the world aristocracy in winter season in Cap-d'Ail.
Built at the end of the 19th century by a British banker, the Château des Terrasses, the third Belle Époque villa built in Cap-d'Ail, was a mecca for the world's aristocracy during the winter season. The residence then had several owners before being sold in 2001 to the city of Cap-d'Ail. A true jewel of architecture and history set in a green park of about 2,000m2, the site has been restored to its original condition. It is a real little paradise that offers an exceptional view of the sea and now hosts various events.
