HERMITAGE CASTLE
This castle was designed in 1894 by the famous architect Hans-Georg Tersling
Also known as Château Malet, it was designed in 1894 by the famous architect Hans-Georg Tersling, who was responsible for many regional buildings. This building represented a condensation of all the main styles of architecture. The site was accidentally bombed during World War II and was partially destroyed: only the northern half and the Italian ballroom remain. In 2000, a restoration campaign was carried out to restore the wall decorations and the painted ceiling of the ballroom.
