Discover the scientific observatory at Calern and the mysteries of the cosmos at Caussols with guided tours.

Located on the Calern plateau since 1974, the observatory originally served as a testing ground for new instruments. Transformed into a scientific research center, it is now dedicated to the study of solar, stellar and intergalactic worlds. During the summer, tours are offered, providing an insight into the telescopes and their advances. An ideal place for science lovers, located in a semi-arid area of around 20 km² to the north of the Caussols plateau.
