The Azur Naturel organic farm in Grasse specializes in the production of French organic spirulina. Their spirulina is grown without chemical or synthetic fertilizers or animal by-products, making it an environmentally-friendly product. Founded in 2012, the farm is one of the first small-scale, 100% French, certified organic spirulina producers. The farm is located northwest of the town of Grasse, surrounded by lush vegetation and centuries-old trees. The Cabris plateau in the Parc naturel des Préalpes d'Azur, where the farm is located, enjoys a warmer, more temperate microclimate than the rest of the département. Azur Naturel offers various spirulina-based products, such as organic spirulina twigs in large and standard sizes. It is advisable to make an appointment before visiting the farm. The farm also offers training in organic spirulina production and videos on spirulina cultivation.
