FÊTE DE LA BREBIS BRIGASQUE

A rustic dairy breed originating from the La Brigue valley, the brigasque sheep is particularly well adapted to the mountainous regions of the Southern Alps. Passionate breeders have undertaken to select it and develop its breeding. For a festive day, the Brigasque Sheep Festival highlights local agricultural and artisanal production. It also addresses the reality of the farming world and the link between agriculture and food. On the program, the peasant and craft market, the animal fair, the mini-farm, demonstrations of blacksmiths and stonemasons, photo exhibitions, animations, brass band and ball for the evening.
