THE BATTLE MOUNTAIN BY THE WAY OF THE MILLS (GR52)
A twenty-minute stroll around Mont Bataille in Turbie, passing by the washhouse near the gendarmerie.
Correct shoes are required for this walk, which starts at the laundry, near the gendarmerie. Take the track which rises immediately above the gendarmerie and leads by bends to Mont Bataille for about 20 minutes. Careful, it's climbing! Then follow the path on the ridge which offers an admirable panoramic view of the village and the Principality of Monaco. The path goes down again towards the Col de Guerre then towards the road to Mount Agel by which you reach the village, on the right. A nice little ride.
