PLACE DE LA FONTAINE ET CHAPELLES
Discover Bar-sur-Loup's square, home to beautiful chapels and a fountain whose water comes from the Foux spring.
The fountain, built in 1420, draws its water from the Foux spring. The pretty chapel of the Trinitarian Sisters stands on a small square at the entrance to the village. Several other small chapels are scattered throughout the Baroise countryside. Each is dedicated to a patron saint. One, for example, is dedicated to Jean-Baptiste, the village's patron saint. Every year, a pilgrimage is organized on June 24 in the meadows around the Papeterie district.
