FÊTE DU MIMOSA
Parades, corsos, parades... The festivities are in full swing in Mandelieu-la-Napoule in honour of the little yellow flower.
Every year, during the week of Shrove Tuesday, the Fête du Mimosa (Mandelieu's emblematic flower) gives rise to a host of events, including corsos, shows, carnival parades and excursions to the Tanneron massif, where the mimosas are in bloom. To enable the many visitors to take full advantage of this event, the tourist office, in collaboration with local businesses, has designed turnkey packages including accommodation, catering, excursions, a visit to the forcerie and, of course, the Grand Corso show.

It is imperative to watch the flowery corsos, which are a real to have fun: on the Mandolociens tanks, dance and distribute bouquets of mimosa, while brass bands come from the four corners of the country (and even further!) punctuated promenade their music. One plays: jazz, salsa, or traditional music.
And it is not counting on the beauty of the tanks, more impressive!
