FONTANA ROSA GARDEN
A listed Hispano-Moorish garden with a collection of 12 bronze busts of Flaubert and others.
Classified as a historical monument, this site is the work of the Spanish novelist and politician, Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, who imagined in this space a real Hispano-Moorish garden, colored with ceramics from Valencia and Menton. During your walk, discover the collection of 12 bronze busts representing Boccaccio, Dostoyevsky, Flaubert, Goethe, Hugo, Poe, Stendhal, Tolstoy, Zola... commissioned to the Latvian sculptor Leopold Bernstamm. A superb rotunda dedicated to Cervantes is decorated with one hundred illustrations of Don Quixote. Artistically clever.
