NOTRE-DAME-DE-LIE CHAPEL
Chapel where you can discover the aesthetic characteristics of Provençal religious monuments, including a bell tower topped by a campanile
In this admirable site Picasso ended his life. The chapel is registered as a Historic Monument and has all the aesthetic characteristics of Provençal religious monuments, including a bell tower topped by a campanile. Its name comes from a custom according to which stillborn children were brought there to be resuscitated for a few moments to be baptized and thus find peace. Pablo Picasso occupied the property next to the chapel "l'Antre du Minotaure".
