In the Old Port district, JAN is an intimate restaurant that welcomes 18 guests per shift to offer a singular dining experience and unprecedented culinary exploration blending local and seasonal cuisine with South African flavors. The chef grew up on a farm in Middelburg and pays a wonderful tribute to his native land as well as his adopted land. Both the classic and signature menus come in 5 and 7 courses and offer an explosive combination of flavors. JAN also offers an extensive 91-cheese tower in the MARIA space.
