Traditional French and Italian cuisine in a brasserie with terrace in the heart of Nice.

This chic brasserie has a large terrace overlooking the pedestrian street in the heart of Nice. On the first floor, the restaurant is decorated in a Belle Epoque style: a remarkable chandelier at the entrance, subtly decorated tables and a beautiful terrace with a sea view of the Promenade des Anglais. The menu displays traditional French and Italian recipes combining fish, meat, pasta and risotto. The service is friendly. The establishment is also a tea room, ice cream parlour and offers excellent pastries throughout the day.

Visited Le Grand Café de France based on a recommendation. And it was a great recommendation! Enjoyed oysters and a glass of white wine for lunch. Oysters were lovely, service was very friendly. The location is beautiful, a very lovely restaurant. I'll definitely visit again whenever I'll be back in Nice.
