Keisuke Matsushima has dreamed of having his own restaurant ever since he was a child, and it's been a reality for over 20 years in Nice, a city that reminds him of his native Japan, between sea and mountains. The dining room is modern, uncluttered and Japanese-inspired, with wood-panelled walls. Guests come here to enjoy international cuisine with southern and Italian flavors, cooked in Japanese style. The chef offers inventive, refined dishes à la carte or on the menu. Recipes are regularly renewed. An address that will make you travel by taste.

10日間のニース滞在も終盤。ニースのお料理はどれも美味しいのですが、こちらのまつしまさんのお料理はやはり、繊細！！とはこういうことか。。と、気付かせてくれるような素敵なものでした。 見えないところで、ものすごく手間がかかっているであろう、複雑で、且つ、素材の風味が活きている一皿一皿、満喫しました。
1人で気楽にディナーを楽しむアメリカからの観光客と思しき男性、地元の常連さんであろうグループ、みなさんそれぞれに楽しく過ごされているようでした。
あまりたくさんの量を食べられないことを伝えると、一皿のボリュームを少しずつ…少なくしていただくこともできました。気持ちの良い接客をしていただき、感謝！
まつしまさんも、比較的寡黙？ですが、温かいお人柄が感じられる素敵な方でした！
