Restaurant offering Mediterranean cuisine by chef David Vaqué.
The chef in the kitchen and his wife in service offer a beautiful face of gastronomy. In the bright room with its contemporary decoration and colorful furniture, the art of the table is in tune. The chef favors short and seasonal circuits to offer you a tasty and delicate cuisine. Always on the lookout for new products, the Bistrot Gourmand offers an elegant Mediterranean cuisine, a mixture of styles, with fresh touches, sometimes sweet, sometimes savory. The staff is of a high level and does everything to satisfy you. Everything is perfect.

Chestnut soup and prawn ravioli dishes were served only lukewarm. Pork shoulder was very dry and clearly overcooked. Risotto was gummy / mushy and also clearly overcooked. Panna cotta and the “whipped cream” was hard as a rock and virtually inedible.
Our wait staff was good though. They were generally kind and attentive. When we provided our feedback on the Panna Cotta, our waiter apologized on the kitchen’s behalf and gave us some sparkling wine on the house. Would’ve been better if they took that item off our bill though…
Overall, it was one of our weakest meals in France, and Europe in general. We’ve had much better food for a similar price / setting elsewhere. A bit of a tourist trap perhaps? Would not recommend.
Une cuisine raffinée, un endroit chic, une ambiance feutrée , vraiment une belle découverte, merci et continuez!
