Accommodation in a luxury establishment in Nice
The adventure began in 1878 when the Schmitz family, ancestor of the current owners, bought on the promenade des Anglais two villas to transform them into a hotel obtaining the permission of the family of the Duke of Westminster to baptize this palace in his name. The building has seen over the years the great and the good and today remains a luxury establishment. If the rooms and the lobby have recently been fully modernized, its lounges with frescoes and coffered ceilings remain intact. Le Duc restaurant and the bar offer a magnificent view of the Mediterranean Sea. Note the presence on the 400 m2 of the spa Le 27 with swimming pool, sauna, steam bath, Sothys and Thalgo treatments.

Die Zimmer sind unglaublich klein für 2 Personen und in die Jahre gekommen. Teppichböden sowie alte Amaturen der Balkon ist kurz vor dem Zerfall ( Boden sackt ab)
Das Frühstück ist peinlich für ein 4 Sterne Hotel.
Schlechter Kaffe ranziger Schinken Omlette und andere Eispezialitäten kosten Extra.
Der Sparbereich war für uns nicht Zugänglich da dieser von nicht Hotelgäste ausgebucht wurde.
Super.....wenn man ein Wellnessweekend geplant hatte.
Also sorry nie wider für den Preis..und definitiv maximal 3 Sterne.
