Cal entrar-hi, doncs des de l'exterior no imagines la fantàstica decoració. El propassat divendres estaba plena de gom a gom i es feia la misa cantada.

Катедралата на Ница се слави като шедьовър на бароковата архитектура. Според историческите данни е построена само за 4 години между 1864г. и 1868г. по дизайн на Луи Леморан. През годините са правени кампании за набиране на средства с благотворителна цел, за нов храм, защото кметът на градът отказал отпуснатото на средства.
Катедралата на Ница е посветена на Света Репарата, която се почита като мъченица - девственица. Твърди се, че нейните тленни останки се намират в храма. Катедралата се намира на площад Росети и с блестящите цветове на купола си се е превърнали в един от символите на Ница.

Of course, awesome, inspiring cathedral right in the heart of old town, energetic square right outside. Quiet, calm place but dark, cold and uncomfortable inside...typical of old stone places of worship. Religion was never about life and joy, it was (is) about suffering and redemption. The murals, paintings depict death, blood (including a beheading!), suffering and pain. Impressive for sure.

Située dans l'ancienne ville et peu isolée des autres bâtiments, c'est un édifice baroque assez original.
Elle est toutefois d'une taille modeste par rapport à l'importance de la ville.

Très belle cathédrale située en plein centre ville de Nice. A l'intérieur, elle se divise en plusieurs sections différentes. Je n'ai pas eu l'occasion d'entendre le son de l'orgue mais vu sa taille cela doit être impressionnant à écouter.
