Before being a secondary school and university where some champions are from (Yannick Noah, Henri Lecomte, Guy Forget ...), this large building had an eventful life, built in 1902 after the architect Adam Detteloff, this palace was first of all intended to host the Russian imperial family of the Tsar. Then, after 10 years of hotel business, it was requisitioned during the First World War and a military hospital. In 1930, the City of Nice acquired it to transform it into a school.
