The municipality bought this continuous chain mill a long time ago when the cooperative that managed it was in a state of disarray and the municipality did not want to see the last mill in Peille closed. Since then it has been run as an olive-growing cooperative and therefore presses olives from November to March for about a hundred private individuals who can leave with their oil from 80 kg upwards. Here, you will not find oil for sale: everyone leaves with their own oil.
