LE FESTIN DES TRADITIONS

Ah, what could be better than a good feast in the Nice hinterland? Roquebillière perpetuates this tradition of feasts with, on the last weekend of August, a popular festival in the villages of the Alpes-Maritimes celebrated in honour of a patron saint or with the sole aim of offering the inhabitants a moment of conviviality. On the programme: dawns to the sound of fife and drums, folk entertainment, meals with tasting of the traditional polenta, a grand ball, fireworks display and the Caïre del Mel hiking race. Organized by the Traditions Committee, these few days of intergenerational sharing should not disappoint you.
