Family restaurant with private beach where you can enjoy inventive and traditional cuisine while enjoying a beautiful view

The family restaurant L'Hippocampe has been doing everything possible since 1963 to satisfy you! Here, all your senses are awakened. First the sight, since we propose you to lunch or dine with an unobstructed view on the whole bay of Menton. Then the sense of smell, where the iodine air takes you into another universe, and finally the taste of an authentic, inventive and traditional cuisine. The most difficult thing is to choose! J’y suis allé déjeuner avec mon père, une cuisine d’une excellente qualité et un dressage à la hauteur d’un semi-gastro ! Cependant, cette qualité est plutôt gâchée par un personnel qui ne connaît pas sa propre carte. Nous posons une question sur les boissons pour l’apéritif à laquelle on nous a dit de regarder dans la carte (ok) et enfin je demande une recommandation sur le poisson afin que je ne sois pas déçu : les yeux se lèvent au ciel, ça souffle et la réponse : « ils
sont tous bons » Ok super merci de votre aide. Heureusement que nous nous sommes plus que régaler. Je recommande pour la cuisine mais ne vous attendez pas à vivre un relationnel de qualité avec le personnel.

Très belle vue. Salle agréable et tables pas trop serrées. La cuisine est bonne. Les prix sont un peu élevés mais en rapport avec les produits cuisinés. Parking à proximité.

Restaurant tenu par le même famille depuis 1963, le lieu est idéalement situé au dessus de la mer, belle vue sur la baie de Menton. Cuisine simple mais du fait maison avec de bons produits. Très bon rapport qualité prix
