Castle listed in the Supplementary Inventory of Historical Monuments since 1927

The castle was built in 970 by the Count of Ventimiglia, Conrad I, in order to defend his lands. The fortress included the whole village. In the 15th century, the Grimaldis increased the military power of the keep. Sold as national property in 1808, it was sold in 1911 to a wealthy British tourist who donated it to the town in 1921. Since 1927, it has been listed in the Inventaire supplémentaire des Monuments historiques. A sunny walk in perspective.

Beau village
