PARC DÉPARTEMENTAL DE L'ESTÉRON
A beautiful natural park on the banks of the Estéron River and is characterized by a unique architectural and historical heritage.
An integral part of the Préalpes du Sud, this beautiful departmental natural park covers an area of more than 20 hectares, and is characterized by unique architectural and historical heritage, linked to the proximity of the two villages of Roquestéron and la Roque-en-Provence. The atmosphere of the site is largely due to the presence of the Estéron river, which takes its bed in the park, allowing bathing and sometimes offering the (unfortunate) chance to see… eels!
