This is an absolutely wonderful luxury hotel, among the nicest I have ever visited. Top notch service from the staff and a beautiful, well kept property. The breakfast was amazing with lots of local products, cheeses, an omelet station etc. Onsite food & drinks are expensive, but it matches the hotel quality and setting; in any case, there are many other food options within a short walk, in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, which also includes a train station from where you can quickly reach Nice or Monaco.

I recommend any visitors also take a walk or short drive to visit the Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and its amazing gardens.

I really enjoyed my short 2 nights stay here with my hubby! Great location and helpful service people and the food is amazing! South French people really know how to cook food!!! I will recommend this hotel to my friends and I will be back in future!

Très bel hôtel. Espaces communs très propres & entretenus. Personnel à l'écoute, accueillant. Même les chambres classiques sont tout à fait satisfaisantes. J'y séjournerai davantage l'été prochain.

Very welcome-looking personnel at the reception. Very nice restaurant Jasmin with excellent service. Clean rooms. Private beach…
But:
1. Housekeeping(( They do not see any problem if your room is not made until 4 pm! Even if the plate are on the door from 11. You have to contact them and discuss time of room cleaning if you want to be sure that the room are made before 4 pm.
2. Beach is really small and when its full you are almost touching your neighbors
3. It is not easy to adjust required water temperature from the shower tap. We had two rooms in two different buildings, but both have the problem.
4. Should be very careful with the room selection. Railway and roads are very near. And if you are looking for really quite place - it is not about. Honestly speaking, if you room is not railway view, you can hardly hear the train. But outside the room you will definitely feel yourself as in in-city hotel.
5. Unfortunately they did not use neither a/c nor fans for at the restaurants during our stay, and when it was hot outside and terraces were full it was a real challenge to have breakfast or lunch inside…
6. There are neither coffee machine nor kettle in the room by default. They are by request. Be prepared that tea and coffee they will not add to your basket every room cleaning. You have to ask house keeping and probably remind them after.
7. Be careful if you choose Orange Mansion when it’s rainy. On out last night we wake up from the water noise and found out that the water was coming to our room from the corridor. Nobody came to help or offer another room. So we dried our room by ourselves. Again they did not see big problem, we did not get any apologies for “inconvenience”…

Hope you will not meet all of these points once you will be charming by Cote D’Azur and if you stay one or two nights. But for longer stay I would not recommend this hotel - too many issues(((

Dear Mr Oleg,

Thank you for staying with us and sorry that you had to experience our property during this brutal and unexpected climatic episode that happened during the night (between 4 and 5 am) and flooded the Orangerie lobby (as per your photos) and some rooms on the ground floor.

We are grateful that you protected your door, therefore securing that your room wasn't flooded.

Many areas of our region have been damaged during this episode. This was the first time in 22 years after the creation of our Oragnerie Villa. After 5 months without rain, it seems that climatic changes can unfortunatly now cause this type of incident. Please accept our apologize for this, and even if it was out of our control our team has worked hard to bring the situation to normal in the morning.

We took good note of your other comments and thank you for your kind words directly to our team when you left the property yesterday. We do apologize that one day during your 6 nights stay your room was serviced after 3pm.

Regarding noise that could be created by the train, this is not a usual complaint from our guests as there aren't many train during the day and all our rooms are equipped with double glazing windows.

We hope we will have the pleasure of welcoming you again in a normal and sunny situation, I would be pleased to take care of your stay and make it very special.

We received our first room on time (3 pm) and the second room at around 5 pm as the previous tenant had a guaranteed late check out at 4. But the reception staff Nicholas was nice to offer us an upgrade for one of the rooms. It was slightly more spacious than the original one.
Rooms are a bit dated and in my opinion don’t live up to the nightly price level.
Breakfast buffet while relatively small was amazing with high quality items. Service was great as expected.
The swimming pool is nice, clean and classy with great service too.
A major disappointment was the beach. The only good thing about it is the view of sea and hills in the background, otherwise the water is among the most unclean I have ever seen in the French Riviera. The water is full of leaves, candy wrappers, paper, other objects…
There is a boat with huge nets trying to keep it clean but the water condition is surprisingly still not acceptable. The neighboring public beach offers a better swimming experience!!

On checkout, we asked for a late checkout but we were offered an extra hour only for one of the rooms despite our late check in…

Finally, the concierge desk was very helpful with advice and booking events.
All in all, a good stay if you want luxury dining and a nice pool experience but if you are looking for a good beach or a luxurious room then you may be disappointed.

One of the best hotels in all of France. All staff encountered were more than friendly and the room among the most beautiful decorated I have ever stayed at. Incredible breakfast. Visit before your neighbour.

Merci énormément au personnel de rendre ce lieux encore plus magique que ce qu’il est déjà ! Ma femme et moi même avant adoré notre séjour chez vous ! Nous n’avons passez qu’une seul nuit mais nous avons déjà hâte de revenir . Nous avons manger au restaurant le jasmin la carte nous donner tellement envie que nous avons pris 3 entrée et tout était vraiment excellent . Seul petit bémol manque un peu de choix au petit déjeuné mais cela n’est qu’un petit détail en vu du séjour que nous avons passé . En vous souhaitant une bonne continuation et as très bientôt .

En matière d’exigence, Mr Mercadal ainsi que Monsieur Perbet sont un exemple de professionnalisme
Lors de la prise de poste respectives, il y a maintenant 20 ans, ils n’ont cessé de vrai extrêmement dur à la tâche pour préserver développer, et faire absolument exploser cet hôtel qui est tout bonnement un joyau
Je suis resté absolument époustouflé par la qualité de service. La décoration, l’aménagement mais que dire des mets
Le club sandwich signature il y a 20 ans et toujours une signature mais que peut-on dire des desserts et surtout des sorbet
Eh bien à deux, nous avons pris un club sandwich de Name quatre desserts et deux assiette de sorbet et au chocolat
Plus qu’un établissement, Mr , Mercadal et Monsieur Perbet, on créer une institution
Quel plaisir, ce fut, et je ne peux que dire. À très vite.

We've had a most wonderful stay at the Royal-Riviera.

The hotel is stunning and feels quite intimate, the staff is incredibly friendly and the views to die for.

The bar staff do a great job, and the hotel is well located to go into Nice and Monaco, etc.

A wonderful place we hope to return to in the future.

This is probably the best hotel I have ever visited. The service is simply phenomenal. On top of that, from nearly anywhere in the hotel, you can enjoy the incredible views offered by the Riviera.

The sauna and hammam are comfortably small, allowing for a good sweat, with some private showers just around the corner.

The gym is a bit lacking, in particular in heavier weights and some pull up bars, but there is no reason to go to a gym at a place like this anyway.

If money is no hurdle, I would absolutely recommend this hotel no anybody.

Nous avons fait plusieurs beaux hôtels, et jusqu'ici le Royal Riviera les detronne tous!
L'architecture du bâtiment, extérieur et intérieur est vraiment superbe.
La position entre la partie jardin et la mer est incroyable.! Dépaysement total!
Le personnel est au petit soin et l'hôtel a plusieurs attentions pour nous faire passer un super séjour.
Le repas au restaurant est très bon, mention speciale pour les pâtisseries qui sont excellentes!!
Le petit-déjeuner est parfait avec une superbe vue depuis la terrasse.

Petite pensée à Kévin, le voiturier, qui est très sympathique, souriant et agréable !

Nous reviendrons volontiers !

We spent 5 unforgettable nights at Royal Riviera in June of 2022 celebrating our 25th anniversary. First the room, we had the pleasure of staying in the junior suite with the large terrace overlooking the pool, Jasmin Grill & Lounge, and most importantly the Mediterranean Sea. If you are looking for an unmatched experience this is the suite for you. The large corner suite offers a large main room accommodating the bed and several sitting areas including a sofa and comfortable chair. The room offers a corner view of the sea with two doors leading to the very large outdoor terrace and one small Juliet balcony. The terrace practically doubles the size of the suite, includes two chase lounge chairs, a table with 4 chairs and umbrella, an outdoor sofa and a commanding view of the property and sea. The staff at this property were the absolute best, very kind and attentive to all our needs. The property is beautiful and the private beach in the area is a real plus. You can walk into the town of Beaulieu-Sur-Mer for great shopping and lovely restaurants. The train station is a short walk away and will quickly take you to Nice or Monte-Carlo. If you are thinking about coming to the French Riviera this a great central location for exploring, do not hesitate, book any room at Royal Riviera!!

Nous sommes venus ici uniquement pour manger et c’était super. Très bon plats bien cuisinés. Un gâteau offert avec une bougie pour un anniversaire c’était top ! De plus le cadre était très joli et agréable.

We had a great stay here. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the common areas, especially the pool, are perfect.
We would have given 5/5 but the food at Jasmin was mediocre and expensive and we were missed on room service one day which we didn’t appreciate. Having said that, you shouldn’t hesitate to stay here.

We stayed at Royal Riviera as part of a family vacation. We could not have been more impressed. Helpful, friendly service from staff at the front desk, pool, and beach. The property is absolutely beautiful. The room was amazing. Attention to detail was impressive. Also, we left a suitcase there by accident and they shipped it to the US! That’s how it’s done!

My wife and I stayed here last week for 2 nights. We were put in a room right next to the elevator which clearly needed maintenance and made an incredibly loud noise every time it moved and you could hear it loudly through the walls. We let the front desk know and they moved us to another room across the hall that was only marginally better. This is totally unacceptable for what they charge and they really need to fix their elevator! We sat by the pool and the beach and watched as others were offered drinks while we were just ignored multiple times. We also noticed the pool was very crowded and even met someone who was just there because they were friends with an employee (this is so unprofessional). You will feel like sardines packed in. Please also be beware that breakfast is 44 euro per person (very good food but exhorbitant). Also dont exchange any currency there at front desk because they charge a huge fee without warning. they may have a certificate to be a 5 star hotel...it most certainly did not feel like one, as they seemed to treat the guests who stay in the smaller (cheapest) rooms like second class citizens. It is a beautiful property but the interior decor is a bit tacky. We would definitely not stay here again.

We will share and review your feedback internally.
It is in our culture to treat every guest the same way regardless of the type of room they have booked. How could the 150 employees, apart from the ones at the front desk know what category you are staying in ?
Summer has been very busy and temperature very high, so many guests have decided to stay by the pool or at the beach, however there is enough loungers and enough space to accommodate everyone. Access to pool is limited to residents and many guests became our friends after more than 20 years.
We do apologies that you felt that our beach or pool attendants did not pay enough attention to you.

Regarding our rates, all of them are available from our website and comparable to other 5-stars properties on the French Riviera.
