1789 Cala is a young bourgeois brand created in 2010 by two friends of childhood from Saint-Laurent-du-Var. The concept? An old crazy dream of "dust-dust" the traditional French espadrilles and hand it in full version "Made In France": everything is thus made in a artisan workshop located in the Basque Country. The brand is successful because the brand grows and develops with a chic and trendy clientele. There are shops in Cannes and Juan les Pins, and all items are also available on the website. The "Classic" collection is a traditional 37-colour espadrilles adorned with a small coat of colours in France, while the "Creator" range develops models for worked forms, moccasins and even spartan. T-shirts, shirts, bathing shorts, bermudas and accessories (bags and beach towels, caps…) also complete the collection.
