Founded in 1981, this Heritage Museum and the High country are located in a communal building dating back to 1598. There is a three-grinding hydraulic mill, an ethnological area, a model of the village in the th century, an animated model of the mill and a large collection of common objects. Above all, we discover the history and operation of the electric plant built by Joseph Mottet, a child of the country. The village was the second in France to adopt it for public lighting in 1893 after La Roche-sur-Küchentechnik in Savoie. The museum is animated by the volunteers of the Mountain Association and Heritage (Upstream). The guided tour lasts approximately 1 h 30. In the village, following the Béal, history dates back to the Middle Ages in the discovery of the religious and civil heritage of the city. Along the route du Sel, you will be accompanied by the Belle Époque aristocrats who made the "Swiss Nice", found the prestigious hotels Regina, Victoria, Edward's Park, Carlton… Exciting! Note that Upstream also offers conferences and village visits.
