Charming café with shaded terrace where you can enjoy a drink, a snack or lunch from the traditional menu

It's the Saint-Paul address with the charm of a French café, where regulars and tourists alike gather. For good reason: it's ideally located before the ramparts, in front of the pétanque court opposite La Colombe d'Or! The clientele is warm and relaxed. You can sit under the trees on the terrace for a drink or snack at any time of day. The lunchtime menu is traditional and convivial: salade niçoise or steak-frites, croque-monsieur, fried sausages or plat du jour, crêpes.

Brasserie à l’ancienne.
Nous avons très bien déjeuné : faux filet tendre et goûteux, plat du jour bien assaisonné.
Service rapide et sympathique.
Les prix sont très corrects pour un site touristique.

Nous avons déjeuné dans ce restaurant avec 3 amis car c'était le seul avec des tarifs qui semblaient corrects, nous avons compris pourquoi, malgré que le serveur a été très courtois, efficace et rapide, nous nous vite aperçu que nous étions plus dans une cantine que dans un restaurant, frites surgelées, saucisses industrielles, mozzarella industrielle, pas de basilic ni vinaigre balsamique, bref, si vous chercher un endroit pour manger rapidement sans gouter la cuisine locale, c'est le bon endroit.

Onaardige ober die €1 boven op de bon zet als je met pin-card wil betalen terwijl dat nergens vooraf wordt aangegeven.

Cafes like these mostly survive because of tourists and they dare to charge 10eur to use the bathroom. Village people mentality. The owner and staff should leave the town to learn a little bit about what is happening in the civilized world.
