CHAPEL FOLON
Restored chapel in Saint-Paul-de-Vence, with a decor entirely designed by the Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon
This 17th century chapel was for nearly three centuries the headquarters of the Brotherhood of the White Penitents, an association of laymen who carried out charity work. Restored in the early 2000s, it has been entirely decorated by the Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon, inspired by the penitents as shown by these open hands, ready to give and help. The light colours of the stained glass windows and paintings, the purity of the lines of the altar and the font, the chromatic richness of the mosaic contrast with the stone exterior.

The ratings and reviews below reflect the subjective opinions of members and not the opinion of The Little Witty.
