FESTIVAL LES BAROQUIALES

The rich heritage present on the Sospel site will be dressed in its baroque costume and will live to the rhythm of concerts and quality plays in such prestigious buildings as Saint-Michel Cathedral and its square, a baroque scenic ensemble of exceptional acoustic quality, the many penitent chapels and other natural sites little known to the public. The BaroQuiales offer street entertainment, a parade in period costumes, actors walking the streets, a craft and art market with a demonstration of old crafts, a guided hike in the footsteps of the famous Salt Route... A week of celebration in the pure Baroque tradition.

Sospel is also punctuated by many events such as: the Festival of Historical Organs, the Scarecrow Competition in summer, the Agricultural Festival in early September. Various concerts and plays throughout the year, not to mention the Fêtes Patronales with balls several evenings a week and themed meals (August 15).
